If You Build It They Will Come
This is a project i did in Brasilia while living in Sobradihno DF. I went there with no plans or language, and ended up renovating a public basketball court to be a portrait of Brasilia. Brasilia was built mainly to move part of the population further inland. Drawn and designed singlehadedly by oscar Niemeyer, and resembeling an airplane when viewed from above it is a truly weird and majestic city.
This project is about us. How things and our surroundings work on us. The brasilian gouvernment buildt a new capital, and the people came.
I made a basketball court usable again, and the people came.

As we shape our enviornment, our enviornment shapes us.
Brasilia is by the way very famous for its multipple UFO sightings.
